TNEA Counselling 2025 | Registration, Schedule, Eligibility: The TNEA 2025 Counselling Registrations have been initiated by the Directorate of Technical Education, Tamil Nadu. The TNEA Counselling Schedule 2025 is available now at the official website, tneaonline.org. Online Counselling Registration has started from 7th May 2025. The deadline to apply for TNEA 2025 Counselling is 6th June 2025.

The TNEA 2025 Round 1 choice filling has started from 14th July 2025. Eligible candidates can log in at tneaonline.org to select and lock their preferred colleges and courses by 16th July 2025. Candidates must register and participate in the online Tamil Nadu Engineering Admissions (TNEA) counselling, which is conducted annually. The TNEA Counselling is open to candidates who have completed their 10+2 or are in the process of completing it.

TNEA Counselling 2025 Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible for TNEA 2025 counselling registration, candidates must have attained the following criteria:

• Scored a minimum of 45% marks (40% for reserved category candidates) in their 10+2 exam.
• Completed their 10+2 exam from TN board or any equivalent board.
• Cleared any one of the HSC (Vocational Subject) as mentioned below with one of the Engineering related subjects, namely Mathematics, Physics, or Chemistry.
• Admission to TNEA 2025 will be granted based on the marks obtained by candidates in relevant subjects, namely Maths, Physics, and Chemistry.
• These marks will be reduced to a total of 200 (Maths – 100, Physics – 50, and Chemistry – 50). Tamil Nadu does not have a state-level entrance exam for engineering admissions.
• Instead, candidates must register and participate in the online Tamil Nadu Engineering Admissions (TNEA) counselling, which is conducted annually.

How to Register for TNEA Counselling 2025?

• Visit the official website of TNEA counselling, tneaonline.org.
• Click on the “New User Registration” button and enter your email ID and mobile number to create an account.
• Once the account is created, fill in the necessary details in the application form, including personal information and academic qualifications.
• Pay the required counselling fee through online mode.
• Upload scanned copies of necessary documents, including 10th and 12th mark sheets, community certificate (if applicable), and nativity certificate.
• Submit the application form and take a printout of the confirmation page for future reference.

Candidates are advised to keep a copy of their application form and other important documents safe until the admission process is complete.
