TGUGCET Selection Process

The Candidates who want to get join TSW Residential Degree Colleges for Women & TTW Residential Degree Colleges for Men and Women, the candidates need to attend the TGUGCET Exam. The admissions will be made on the basis of marks secured in the TGUGCET by the rule of reservations (item-IV). The counseling schedule/ dates/ venue for admissions into 1st Year Degree (Semester wise) Courses will be published on Websites tswreis.ac.in.

The candidates have to appear for counseling to be held in TSW / TTW Residential Educational Institutions located at the old district (specific college notified) where all the certificates are verified. The convener reserves the right to cancel the admission at any stage if the particulars furnished by the candidate are found incorrect or against the rules of admission. Certain changes in the course offered would be made by the Societies depending on the number of students applying for a course. Only based on counseling after the exam only can get a seat in the specified college.

TGUGCET Exam Pattern

Type of Questions: There are multiple-choice (objective type) questions that will be asked in the TGUGCET Question Paper.
Language: The TGUGCET Exam Paper will be bilingual, i.e, questions are asked in 2 languages: English and Telugu.
Duration: Paper 1 lasts for a total duration of 150 minutes (2 hours and 30 minutes).
A number of sections: The test is divided into 4 sections/subjects.
Total marks: 120 (30 marks for each of 4 subjects)
Subjects covered: The candidate shall have to appear in any 1 of the following 5 tests, based on subjects at the intermediate level. However General English is common for all 5 tests.

Note: The Candidates who have completed vocational courses in
1. Engineering subjects with Bridge courses are eligible for B.Sc (MPC) and other physical science courses.
2. Life sciences subjects including paramedical courses with ‘Bridge course’ are eligible for B.Sc (BZC) and other life science courses.
3. Engineering/life sciences (without bridge course) and Commerce and Management courses are eligible for B.Com, BBA & B.A.
