The authorities of the Regional Institute of Education (RIE) have given the Exam Pattern on their official website. Here we have given the outline of the exam pattern. The exam will be conducted for 2 Hours and 80 questions will be asked. Candidates must answer the questions related to Language Proficiency In English, Teaching Aptitude/ Attitude, and Reasoning Ability. The total marks for the exam are 160. There will be a negative marking of 0.5 for each wrong answer.

RIE CEE Exam Pattern

All the applied candidates must have a complete idea of the RIE Common Entrance Exam Pattern before attending the Exam. This will help the aspirants to gain more ideas on how to attempt the exam and also manage their time.

• Group-A (B.Sc.B.Ed./ B.A.B.Ed./ M.Sc.B.Ed): The level of questions will be such as expected of the candidate completing higher secondary/senior secondary education
• Group-B (B.Ed): The level of questions will be such as expected of the candidate completing graduation
• Group-C (M.Ed): The level of questions will be such as expected of the candidate completing graduation and professional education level

NOTE: 2 Marks will be awarded for correct answers whereas 0.5 marks will be deducted for every wrong answer. Unanswered questions will carry no marks.
