KCET 2025 Counselling Procedure

Registration

Every candidate who is assigned rank in CET-2025 will have to report to the nearest Helpline Centres / Facilitation Centre as per the schedule for Registration and Verification of Documents. The CET No. will be entered into the computer by verifying the CET-2025 Admission Ticket and candidate photo printed on the valid Identity Card of the Candidate.

Verification Of Documents

  • Candidates are advised to be prepared with all the necessary certificates/documents for verification as per their claims made in the online application to claim eligibility and reservation benefits.
  • The candidate should possess all necessary original documents with them in support of their claim made in the online application. If any candidate fails to produce any of the documents/certificates/marks cards, such a candidate will not get eligibility to exercise the options for seat allotment.

Choice Filling & Locking

After document verification, log in to your account using a unique id and password. After that, fill in your preference of college and course. A candidate shall be able to check the course wise, category wise, and college wise seat matrix at the time of choice filling. Select the preferences carefully however, a candidate can modify, add or delete the choices in every round of counselling.

KCET Seat Allotment 2025

  • Seat allotment for admission to various Professional Courses for the year 2025, will be based on the documents/ certificates produced by the eligible candidates.
  • Eligibility of candidate for consideration of seat allotment totally depends on the production of all supporting documents at the time of verification which inter leads to the correctness of data of candidates. Therefore, the candidate is also jointly responsible for ensuring the correctness of the data. No request for alteration of data will be considered under any circumstances at any point of time after verification of documents is completed.

Reporting To College

At this stage, candidates will be briefed about the procedure to be followed by the candidate in exercising options, allotment of seats, payment of fees, and reporting to the college. This will be like a training class for the candidates to familiarize themselves on entry of options and procedures to be followed for such entry of options till their admissions to the college.

  • 2nd PUC Marks Card.
  • Study Certificate.
  • Income Certificate (For Supernumerary quota seats only) (Income limit Rs.8,00,000/-)
  • Rural Study Certificate.
  • Kannada Medium Certificate.
  • Caste/ Caste Income Certificate.

Note:

  • CBSE, CISCE, and J & K candidates should produce the study certificate obtained from the Principal of their respective schools. Further, the countersignature of BEO or DDPI is not required for them.
  • The candidates whose parents come under the creamy layer are not eligible to claim the benefit of rural reservation.
