Karnataka Common Entrance Test 2022 – Eligibility Criteria

B.ArchCandidates should be a pass in 2nd PUC/ Class 12/ equivalent exam with English as one of the Languages and secure 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics and 50% marks in aggregate at the 2nd PUC/ Class 12/ equivalent exam in all the subjects (45% for reserved category)
BE/ BTechCandidates should be a pass in 2nd PUC/ Class 12/ equivalent exam with English as one of the Languages and obtained a minimum of 45% marks in aggregate in Physics and Mathematics along with Chemistry/ Bio-Technology/ Biology/ Electronics/ Computer (40% for reserved category)
Farm Science courses mean, BSc (Hons) Agriculture, BSc (Hons) Sericulture, B.Sc (Hons) Horticulture, BSc (Hons) Forestry, BTech Biotechnology, B.Sc (Hons) Community Science, B.Tech (Agril. Engg), BTech (Food Technology), B.Tech (Dairy Technology), B.F.Sc (Fisheries), BSc (Hons) Ag. Maco.Candidates should have passed the 2nd PUC/ Class 12/ equivalent exam with Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, and Biology as optional subjects.
Bachelor of Veterinary Science and Animal Husbandry (BVSc & AH)Candidates should be a pass in 2nd PU/ Class 12 and obtained a minimum of 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English subjects (40% for reserved category).
BPharma
  • Passed in 2nd PUC/ Class 12 with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology or Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics and obtained a minimum of 45% marks in aggregate in Physics, Chemistry, Biology subjects. (40% for reserved category candidates) or
  • Passed in Diploma in Pharmacy from an institution approved by the Pharmacy Council of India Under Section 12 of the Pharmacy Act and has secured a minimum of 45% marks. (40% for reserved category candidates)
2nd Year BPharmaCandidates should have passed the Diploma in Pharmacy Examination from an institution approved by the Pharmacy Council of India Under Section 12 of the Pharmacy Act and have secured a minimum of 45% marks. (40% for reserved category candidates)
D. Pharma
  • Candidates should be pass in 2nd PUC / Class 12 with Physics, Chemistry and Biology or Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics OR
  • Passed in Diploma in Pharmacy Examination from an institution approved by the Pharmacy Council of India Under Section 12 of the Pharmacy Act.
Naturopathy & YogaCandidates should have passed the qualifying examination with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology as optional subjects and English as one of the languages of study and obtained an aggregate minimum of 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology subjects in the qualifying examination are eligible for admission to Naturopathy & Yoga courses (40% for reserved category candidates).

KCET Exam Pattern 2022

  • The KCET 2022 Entrance Test will be conducted in offline mode, which means it will be a pen and paper-based exam.
  • The paper will consist of multiple-type of questions.
  • Each question will consist of four options out of which candidates will have to choose one correct answer.
  • The maximum mark for each paper will be 60.
  • Each question will carry 1 mark.
  • There will be no negative marking for incorrect answers.
  • The medium of the language will be either English or Kannada in the exam.
  • Each paper will be of  80 Minutes
