WIT Darbhanga CAT 2021 Application Form will be released by Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam Women’s Institute of Technology which is Formerly known as Women’s Institute of Technology. Students who have Qualified CAT will be granted admission to 4 years of B.Tech. program in Information Technology (IT), Computer Science & Engineering (CSE), Bioinformatics (BI), MSC, and second year of B.Tech. through Lateral Entry in CSE and IT programs of Engineering. Candidates need to go through all the processes like downloading the application, paying the fee, attaching all the documents, and submitting it before the ending date.

WIT Darbhanga CAT Eligibility Criteria

B.Tech:

To get admission in 4 years B.Tech. of Information Technology(IT), Computer Science & Engineering (CSE), and Bioinformatics (BI) for the academic year 2021 is open to all Girl/Women candidates who have qualified in  10+2 or any equivalent exam from any recognized University or Board or Council with one of the subjects mentioned-Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics (PCM) for IT/CSE/BI or with Physics, Chemistry & Biology/Mathematics (PCB/M) for BI only

Candidates need to qualify for any of the subjects to get admission to have to qualify with a minimum of  45% aggregate marks in PCM/PCB. Reserved category 40%. Students should need to pass in English at 10+2 or equivalent level.

Lateral Entry to B.Tech. in Information Technology(IT) and Computer Science & Engineering (CSE): 

Candidates must pass the Diploma exam in a relevant branch from any recognized University or Institute minimum of 45% marks & 40% marks to the candidates belongs to reserved category in the appropriate branch of Engineering and Technology.                       Candidates who have passed B.Sc. Degree from a recognized University as defined by UGC, with a minimum of 45% marks and passed 10+2 examination with Mathematics as a subject. For reserved category candidates qualifying marks is 40%. 

Master of Computer Application (MCA): 

Girl/Women students having a recognized 50% (45% for reserved category) marks at the graduation level having passed in maths as one of the subjects in 10+2 level or equivalent Examination. Candidates having Hons. A degree in BCA  is also eligible to apply for WIT Darbhanga CAT 2021.

WIT Darbhanga CAT 2021 Application Fee

Candidates have to pay Rupees one Thousand Only (Rs. 1000/-) in any nationalized bank drawn in favor of WIT, L.N.M.U., Payable at Darbhanga.

Applicants must submit directly to the administration office of WIT Darbhanga or by post to the office of  APJAKWIT, Darbhanga within the last date.

WIT Darbhanga CAT 2021 Exam Pattern

• The duration of WIT Darbhanga CAT will be of 2 hours 15 minutes. The exam contains a total of 150 objective types of Questions (for both B.Tech. and MCA). There will be no negative marking for the wrong answer.
• The CAT, for admission to the second year of B.Tech. through Lateral Entry in CSE and IT programs of B.Tech will be continued for 2 hours 15 minutes. It contains a total of 150 objective types of Questions.
• Candidates who applied for the MCA program the CAT will be of 4 papers having 50 objective questions in Mathematics, 50 Questions in Analytical ability and Logical Reasoning, 25 Questions in Computer Awareness, and 25 Questions in General English.

WIT Darbhanga CAT 2021 Examination Syllabus

For admission to the first year of B.Tech. the program, CAT will be of 3 papers, Physics, Chemistry, and Maths/Biology, each paper contains 50 objective questions.

Candidates who have applied for the second year of B.Tech. through Lateral Entry in CSE and IT programs of Engineering have to cover Engineering Mechanics, Engineering Mathematics and Technical English subjects.

Candidates who applied for the MCA program have to cover Mathematics, Analytical Ability and Logical Reasoning,  Computer Awareness, and General English.
