WBJEE PUMDET Exam Pattern
The Presidency University Master Degree Entrance Test (PUMDET) is a Common Entrance Examination in offline mode (OMR-based examination). The tests will be based on the 11th and 12th standard syllabi of various recognized boards/ councils. All questions will be of Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ) type, with four options against each of the questions and one answer will be correct. There will be 50 questions in each paper with full marks of 100 and the time allotted will be 90 minutes.

The correct answer will be awarded 2 (two) marks & the Incorrect answer will be awarded -1/2 (25% negative) marks. For any combination of responses with more than one option, the said answer will be treated as incorrect and will yield -1/2 (25% negative) marks. Not attempting the question will fetch zero marks.
