The TS PECET Exam Pattern 2025 consists of two parts: A physical Efficiency Test (PET) and a Skill Test in-game. The PET will consist of running 100 meters, putting the shot (6 kg for men and 4 kg for women), running 800 meters, and a long jump (3 attempts).

The Skill Test will evaluate the candidate’s proficiency in the game they have chosen, which can be either Ball Badminton, Basketball, Cricket, Football, Handball, Hockey, Kabaddi, Kho-Kho, Tennis, or Volleyball. The Skill Test will have 100 marks, and the PET will have 400 marks. The total marks for the exam are 500. The duration of the exam is two hours. Candidates who qualify in both the PET and Skill Test will be eligible for admission into the B.P.Ed and D.P.Ed courses offered by the universities in Telangana.

The Common Entrance Test for entry of students into B.P.Ed. (Two Years) and D.P.Ed. (Two Years) Courses Comprise of two parts, namely a) a Physical Efficiency Test and b) a Skill Test in the Game.

These tests will be conducted as follows:

Physical Efficiency Tests: Maximum 400 marks:

The Candidate has to choose either a High Jump or a Long Jump. Candidates have to mention an option in the application. Changing of option at the time of the test is not permitted.

Skill Test in Game: Maximum 100 Marks

The skills of the candidate shall be tested in any one of the following games opted for by the candidate:

• Ball Badminton
• Basketball
• Cricket
• Football
• Handball
• Hockey
• Kabaddi
• Kho-Kho
• Shuttle Badminton
• Tennis
• Volleyball

Note: If any Candidate fails to choose any one of these games in the application, the candidate will not be allowed to attend the examination in the skill test and he/ she loses the chance to appear for the 100 marks skill test. If any candidate chooses more than one game, then also, the candidate will not be allowed for the skill test. So, the candidate should fill out the application properly by choosing only one game. Changing of option at the time of the test is not permitted.
