TS ICET Counselling 2025 | Telangana ICET Registration (Started), Schedule: The Telangana State Council of Higher Education (TGCHE) has started the TG ICET 2025 counselling process from 20th August 2025. The TS ICET 2025 counselling notification has been released on 18th August 2025. Slot booking for certificate verification begins on 20th August 2025 till 28th August 2025, allowing candidates to select their preferred timings.
As per the official schedule, the counselling committee will release the list of candidates who have reported on the given date. Along with this, the details of vacant seats for further admissions will also be published. All participating colleges must upload the spot admission details online and ensure that candidates pay the processing fee through the official portal before the final deadline.
New Update: The TG ICET 2025 option-freezing process will end today, 30th August 2025. Candidates should log in to the official website tgicetd.nic.in and lock their preferred college choices to secure their seats.

TS ICET Counselling Process 2025
Aspirants who are shortlisted for Counselling must complete the Registration process. All the aspirants must submit the documents required for the TS ICET Counselling. After verification, candidates can lock their preference for colleges through the official portal. Finally, the Allotment of seats will be made by the officials.

- In the case of non-local candidates residential certificate of either of the parents in
- Telangana for 10 years, excluding the period of employment outside Telangana from Tehsildar.
- Transfer Certificate of Degree or Equivalent.

- Caste & Income certificate issued on or after 1st June 2025.

Nationality: The candidate must be an Indian National.

Seat Reservation:

85% of seats in each course are reserved for local candidates of O.U. Area as per the Andhra Pradesh Educational Institutions (Regulations and Admissions) Order, 1974 (and its amendments).

The remaining 15% seats are unreserved, open for:

Local candidates of the O.U. Area.

Candidates who have lived in Andhra Pradesh for 10 years (excluding study periods outside the state) or whose parents have resided for 10 years (excluding employment outside the state).

Children of State/Central Government employees, Public Sector Corporations, Local Bodies, Universities, and similar quasi-public institutions within the State.

Spouses of employees working in the State/Central Government, Public Sector, Universities, Educational Institutions recognised by the Government, or other competent authorities in Andhra Pradesh.

Age Limit for Scholarships:

30 years for OC candidates.

Educational Qualification:

For MBA: Bachelor’s Degree (minimum 3 years duration) from a recognised university (except Oriental Languages).

For MCA: Bachelor’s Degree in BCA, B.Sc, B.Com, or B.A with Mathematics at 10+2 or graduation level.

Distance/ODL Degrees: Degrees obtained through Distance Mode/Open Distance Learning (ODL) must be recognised by UGC, AICTE, and DEC/DEB as per UGC regulations.

Other State University Degrees: Candidates must submit an equivalency certificate from Osmania University.
