TNEA Counselling 2025
Choice Filling is enabled for all first round candidates, request you to login and complete the choice filling on or before the closing date. Candidates must register and participate in the online Tamil Nadu Engineering Admissions (TNEA) counselling, which is conducted annually. The TNEA Counselling is open to candidates who have completed their 10+2 or are in the process of completing it.
New Update: TNEA Online Choice Filling allows candidates to select and prioritize their preferred colleges and courses after rank list publication, with certificate verification scheduled from 10th to 20th June 2025 at all TFCs.

TNEA Counselling 2025 Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for TNEA 2025 counselling registration, candidates must have attained the following criteria:
- Scored a minimum of 45% marks (40% for reserved category candidates) in their 10+2 exam.
- Completed their 10+2 exam from TN board or any equivalent board.
- Cleared any one of the HSC (Vocational Subject) as mentioned below with one of the Engineering related subjects, namely Mathematics, Physics, or Chemistry.
- Admission to TNEA 2025 will be granted based on the marks obtained by candidates in relevant subjects, namely Maths, Physics, and Chemistry.
- These marks will be reduced to a total of 200 (Maths – 100, Physics – 50, and Chemistry – 50). Tamil Nadu does not have a state-level entrance exam for engineering admissions.
- Instead, candidates must register and participate in the online Tamil Nadu Engineering Admissions (TNEA) counselling, which is conducted annually.
How to Register for TNEA Counselling 2025?
- Visit the official website of TNEA counselling, tneaonline.org.
- Click on the “New User Registration” button and enter your email ID and mobile number to create an account.
- Once the account is created, fill in the necessary details in the application form, including personal information and academic qualifications.
- Pay the required counselling fee through online mode.
- Upload scanned copies of necessary documents, including 10th and 12th mark sheets, community certificate (if applicable), and nativity certificate.
- Submit the application form and take a printout of the confirmation page for future reference.
Candidates are advised to keep a copy of their application form and other important documents safe until the admission process is complete.
