For Masters/ Doctoral programs

• Only those students who have studied in State Agricultural Universities (SAUs)/ Colleges affiliated to SAUs/ Central Agricultural Universities (CAUs)/ ICAR Deemed Universities/ Central Universities with Agriculture Faculty listed by ICAR/ any other institutes accredited by NAEAB (ICAR) alone are eligible for admission to TNAU for Masters & Doctoral programs.
• Masters Program – A candidate who has undergone a course credit system with a minimum OGPA of 3.00 out of 4.00 or 6.60 out of 10.00 in the Bachelor’s Degree Programme can apply for Masters Programme. However, for SC/ ST candidates, a minimum OGPA of 6.50 out of 10.00 in a bachelor’s degree is sufficient.
• A minimum OGPA of 7.00 out of 10.00 in Masters’ Programs is eligible to apply for Doctoral Programme.
• Masters program: Graduates who have successfully completed a four-year undergraduate degree program (specified below) and awarded by any one of the State Agricultural Universities (SAUs)/ Colleges affiliated to SAUs/ Central Agricultural Universities (CAUs)/ ICAR Deemed Universities/ Central Universities with Agriculture Faculty listed by ICAR/ any other institutes accredited by NAEAB (ICAR) alone are eligible to apply for Masters program.
• Doctoral programs: Candidates who have successfully completed four-year undergraduate degree programs and two-year Masters programs (specified below) and awarded by any one of the State Agricultural Universities (SAUs)/ Colleges affiliated to SAUs/Central Agricultural Universities (CAUs)/ICAR Deemed Universities/Central Universities with Agriculture Faculty listed by ICAR/ any other institutes accredited by NAEAB (ICAR) alone are eligible to apply for the doctoral program.

TNAU Entrance Exam 2022 – Application Fee

• A candidate shall apply for only two subjects in Master’s programs.
• A separate fee is to be remitted for each subject. Candidates seeking admission to Ph.D. can apply for only one subject.
• All applicants should fill in the applications by ONLINE ONLY (admissionsatpgschool.tnau.ac.in) till 12:00 midnight on or before the last date for Masters’ Programs and Ph.D. programs.

Ms. No.28 dated 06.04.2015 (Inclusion of Transgender/ Eunuch (Thirunangai/ Aravani) in the list of Most Backward Classes) to be uploaded.
• SC/ ST candidates from other states should also upload scanned copies of the community certificate issued by a competent authority. BCM/ MBC/ SCA Students of Tamil Nadu should upload a scanned copy of the community certificate.
• The candidates seeking admission against differently-abled set apart for Hearing impaired/ Orthopedically Differently Abled/ Visually Impaired should produce the recent certificate from the Medical Board of the District concerned certifying the nature and extent of disability in percentage.
• Certificates obtained from an individual Doctor will not be considered and such applications will be summarily rejected. Further, a separate TNAU Medical Team will examine the candidates with reference to their certificates and his/ her suitability for admission to TNAU (Refer: Appendix–I)
• A scanned copy of provisional/ degree certificate showing the Class or OGPA obtained in the qualifying degree.
• Scanned copies of mark list/ transcript card showing details of courses undergone and marks obtained in the qualifying degree.
• While submitting the applications online, if required scanned copies (documents) are not uploaded, then the application will be summarily rejected without any intimation.
