TS NEET UG Counselling 2023 – Eligibility

• a) The candidate should be an Indian National and should satisfy the Local or Non-local status in Telangana State as laid down in the Andhra Pradesh Education Institutions (Regulations of Admissions) Order, 1974. Selection will be done as per the procedure laid down in the G.O.P.No. 646, dated 10.07.1979 as amended in G.O.Ms.No.42, Higher
  Education (EC2) Department, dated 18.05.2009, G.O.Ms.No. 114 HM&FW(C1) Dept. Dated: 5-7-2017, subsequent amendments, G.O.Ms.No. 127, Health, Medical, and Family Welfare (Cl) Department Dated: 22.09.2023, G.O.Ms.No. 33, Tribal Welfare Department, dated.30.09.2023, and relevant Hon’ble Supreme Court/High Court orders.
• b) Educational Qualification:- In accordance with NMC Regulations The candidate should have passed Intermediate (10+2 pattern) or its equivalent examination with Physics, Chemistry, Biology (Botany, Zoology) / Biotechnology and
  English.
• i. OC candidates should obtain not less than 50% marks in science subjects.
• ii. BC/ SC/ ST candidates should obtain not less than 40% marks in science subjects.
• iii. OC PWD candidates should obtain not less than 45% marks in science subjects.
• iv. Candidates claiming reservation under the EWS category also should obtain 50%
  marks in science subjects.
• c) The candidate should have qualified in NEET UG -2023 as per cut-off scores notified above.
• d) Age: The candidate should have completed 17 years of age as of 31-12-2023. The candidates who do not complete 17 years as of 31-12-2023 need not attend the counseling. The candidates born on or after 02-01-2006 are not eligible for admission into MBBS/ BDS Courses.
• e) The candidates who apply for reservation seats under Anglo Indian, CAP (Army), NCC, Persons With Disabilities (PWD), and Police Martyrs Children (PMC) also need to fulfill the above eligibility criteria.
• f) The candidates who claim admission under the Persons with Disabilities (PWD) category shall mention in the online application as applying under the PWD category and have to appear before a Medical Board to be constituted for the purpose by the University as per the schedule to be notified by the University for eligibility under PWD status.

The Registration and Processing fee of Rs.3,500/- (Bank transaction charges extra) for OC & BC candidates and Rs.2,900/- (Bank transaction charges extra) for SC/ST candidates shall be paid online through Debit card/ Credit card or Net Banking. Registration and Processing fees once paid will not be refunded or adjusted to a further date. The candidates are advised to download and read the Prospectus of the course to verify eligibility under the local/ nonlocal category.

• Rank card of NEET UG-2023
• SSC or equivalent examination containing the Date of Birth
• Memorandum of marks of qualifying examination i.e., Intermediate or Equivalent examination.
• Transfer certificate (T.C)
• Study Certificate(s) from 6th class to Intermediate.
• Permanent Caste Certificate (Integrated Community Certificate) claiming reservation under BC/ SC/ ST Categories issued by the competent authority.
• Service records of parents or SSC/ SSLC certificate of parent/ relative if a parent is not in-service.
• Aadhar Card
• Minority certificates issued by the concerned Department.
• Candidates who have studied in institutions outside of Telangana have to submit 10 years (years of period to be specified) residence certificate of the candidate or either of the parent issued by MRO / Tahsildar excluding the period of study/ employment outside the State.
• The candidates claiming fee exemption shall produce the latest Income certificate of the Parent issued by MRO / Tahsildar.
• Local Residence Certificates issued by MRO for candidates appeared privately.
• Candidates claiming eligibility for reservation under Special categories i.e., CAP, NCC, PMC, and Anglo-Indian should furnish the required certificate in support of their claim.
• EWS Certificate issued with validity for 2023- 23 for claiming reservation under EWSCategories issued by Competent Authority (Tahasildar) of State of Telangana.
