SDSUV B.Ed Entrance Exam Eligibility
Under the latest admission rule 32 issued by the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE), the minimum educational qualification required for admission in B.Ed. class is as follows:-
- (a) in the case of candidates belonging to Other Backward Classes, Scheduled Castes, and Scheduled Tribes, for admission to B.Ed. class, graduate or post-graduate of a University established by law, or
- It is necessary to pass any other examination equivalent to this with at least 45 percent marks, but 44.9 percent will not be considered 45 percent under this rule.
- (b) General category candidates must have passed graduation or post-graduation with at least 50 percent marks. Even 49.99 percent marks will not be accepted.
- (C) The candidates who appeared in the main examination of the year 2022 in the final year examination of graduate/postgraduate have been/ are happening, they can apply for appearing in the B.Ed. entrance examination can, but such candidates will not be allowed to appear in the counseling for admission to B.Ed. class by the Council of Education (NCTE) having the prescribed qualification in point (04) above will be mandatory.
- (D) Candidates obtaining 55 percent marks (54.99 marks will also not be accepted) in Engineering, with specialization in Science and Mathematics, or candidates with any other qualification equivalent to them, will be eligible for admission!
- Note- a) It is mandatory for reserved category (Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe, and Other Backward Class category) candidates to obtain 50 (49.99 marks will also not be accepted) percentage marks in engineering with specialization in Science and Mathematics.
- (d) Candidates of engineering and technical streams should note that according to the guidelines of NCTE, their eligibility for B.Ed course is determined only on the basis of their graduation degree with a specialization in Science and Mathematics subjects and not on the basis of their engineering and technical background. On the basis of a Master’s degree.
