Eligible candidates can apply for the SAAT Entrance Exam 2024 for Phase 1. The SAAT 2024 exam is conducted to provide admissions in UG & PG programs in the Engineering, Medical, Agriculture, Law, Management, and Hotel Management fields.

Agriculture Courses
BACHELOR OF SCIENCE (AGRICULTURE)
- Pass or appear at the 10+2 examination with not less than 60% marks in aggregate for admission under General and OBC categories, 40% marks in aggregate for admission under SC, ST, and PH categories, with PCM/PCB/PCMB subject combinations. Candidates must have passed in English 10+2 examination.
MASTER OF SCIENCE (AGRICULTURE)
Pass or appearing (2024) B.Sc. (Agriculture) / B.Sc.(Horticulture) from any recognized University by State and Central Government Marks in the qualifying examination.
- The candidate should have an OGPA of 6.5 and a GPA of 7.0 in the concerned discipline on 10 point scale.
- Candidates belonging to SC/ ST/ PH shall have an OGPA 5.5 and a GPA of 6.0 in the concerned discipline on a 10-point scale.
- The requirement of minimum percentage of marks (OGPA/GPA) as indicated above shall not apply to the candidate sponsored by the State Government/ Central Government/ Nominee of ICAR.
- The minimum age limit is 21 years as of 31.07.2024. No relaxation in the age limit.
- ICAR/ Departmental candidates sponsored by State Govt. and Siksha ‘O’ Anusandhan (Deemed to be University) employees to be admitted as in-service candidates are exempted from appearing at the Entrance Examination.

Law Courses
5 YEARS INTEGRATED LAW (B.A.LL.B- HONS/B.B.A.LL.B – HONS)
- Pass or appear the 10+2 or equivalent in any stream with at least 45% marks. Relaxable to 40% in case of SC/ ST and 42% in case of OBC. There is no upper age limit at present, however, it is subject to the decision of the Hon’ble Supreme Court of India and BCI notification in this regard.
- CLAT/LSAT-qualified candidates are exempted from the entrance test, but they have to fill out the form.
3 YEARS LAW (LL.B – HONS)
- Pass or appear the +3 or equivalent in any stream with at least 45% marks. Relaxable to 40% in case of SC/ ST and 42% in case of OBC. There is no upper age limit at present, however, it is subject to the decision of the Hon’ble Supreme Court of India and BCI notification in this regard
MASTER OF LAW (L.L.M.)
- Pass or appear a 2024 Bachelor’s degree in Law or studied Integrated Law courses or the equivalent thereof, from any recognized university.
- CLAT/LSAT-qualified candidates are exempted from the entrance test, but they have to fill out the form.
Nursing Courses
BACHELOR OF SCIENCE (NURSING)
- Pass or appear at 10+2 examination (2024) with at least 45% marks in aggregate (Physics, Chemistry & Biology taken together) and 40% marks in aggregate for SC/ ST/ OBC candidates and must have passed in English.
- Age Limit: The lower age limit is 17 years as of 31.12.2024.
POST BASIC B.SC.(NURSING)
- Passed GNM examination, and registered with the concerned State Nursing Council.
MASTER OF SCIENCE (NURSING)
- Pass B.Sc. Nursing (Basic/ Post Basic) Degree with 55% aggregate from an Institution recognized by the Indian Nursing Council with a minimum of one year experience either in teaching or clinical area after registration in the respective State Nursing Council as a Registered Nurse and Registered Midwife.
M.Sc. General Sciences Courses
PHYSICS, CHEMISTRY, AND MATHEMATICS
- Pass or appearing (2024) a Bachelor’s degree in Science Physics (Honours)/ Chemistry (Honours)/ Mathematics (Honours), Electronics (Honours), Computer Science (Honours), Information Technology (Honours) or equivalent respectively from any recognized University with at least 50% marks (45% in case of candidates belonging to SC/ ST/ OBC category).
SAAT Admission Procedure 2024
- All students are required to apply & appear Siksha O Anusandhan Admissions Test (SAAT) or equivalent qualifying exam(s).
- A separate merit list for all qualifying candidates shall be prepared based on SAAT.
- In addition, separate merit lists will also be drawn for candidates qualifying under each of the reservation categories. Each qualified candidate shall be given a rank card.
- The reservations shall be followed as per the reservation policy mentioned in the Reservation Policy Document.
- Online/ Offline counseling will be done based on the merit and preference of the candidate. The detailed processes and schedule will be notified after the ranks are published.
- During final admission (dates to be notified after online/ offline counseling) all certificates in original will be verified. For records of the Institutes, two sets of attested copies of the certificates and mark sheets, etc. will be collected.
- A candidate selected through the counseling for a course is admitted and registered as a student of SOA deemed to be a University automatically.
NOTE: At any time during the study, if it is found that the student is not satisfying the minimum eligibility criteria for admission into a particular course as prescribed by the SAAT information brochure and rules laid down by other statutory bodies, the candidate’s admission will be canceled. He/ She cannot claim the same in a court of law. Hence, candidates are requested to make sure that they fulfill all the criteria before seeking admission.

SAAT Exam Pattern 2024
The Siksha ‘O’ Anusandhan Admission Test is a computer-based test. This exam will be of 120 questions. Each question carries 4 hours. The time allocated for the exam is 2 hours. Applicants can also visit the official site to get details on the SAAT Exam Pattern 2024.
SOA Syllabus 2024

SAAT Entrance Exam Admit Card 2024
- The Hall Ticket will be issued only to those eligible candidates who have submitted their online application forms complete in all respects, on or before the last date as specified.
- Hall tickets can be downloaded from the candidates’ login/ dashboard on the appropriate date.
- The Hall Ticket once received should be carefully examined by the candidate. If any discrepancy is noticed it should immediately be brought to the notice of the Director, Admissions.
- No candidate will be permitted to attend the test without a valid Hall Ticket. The Hall Ticket should be presented to the invigilators for verification.
SAAT Result 2024
A separate merit list for all qualifying candidates shall be prepared based on SAAT – 2024 results in the following manner.
- One merit list for the candidates seeking admission to B.Tech. course based on marks obtained in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics.
- One merit list for the candidates seeking admission to B.Pharm./ B.Sc. Agriculture course based on marks obtained in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics/ Biology.
- One each for the Candidates of diploma streams seeking admission under the Lateral Entry scheme to B.Tech., MCA, B.Pharm, and BHMCT courses.
- One each for candidates seeking admission to MCA, M.Tech. (branch-wise), M.Sc. (All), M.Sc. Agriculture, MBA, MHA, MHM, M.Pharm., LLM & M.Sc. Nursing courses.
- One for candidates seeking admission to BHMCT, B.A. LL.B. (H), BBA LL.B. (H), LL.B. (H), BBA, BCA Courses.
- One each for candidates seeking admission to B.Sc. Nursing and Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing Courses.
