Rajasthan NEET UG Admission Eligibility Criteria

Students who want to get admissions to the respective MBBS and BDS courses need to satisfy the following eligibility criteria

MBBS Course

  • The Higher/ Senior Secondary Examination or the Indian School Certificate Examination which is equivalent to 10+2 Higher/ Senior Secondary Examination after a period of 12 years study, the last two years of such study comprising of Physics, Chemistry, Biology/ Bio-technology (which shall include practical tests in these subjects) and Mathematics or any other elective subject with English at a level not less than the core course for English as prescribed by the National Council of Educational Research and Training after the introduction of the 10+2+3 educational structure as recommended by the National Committee on Education.
  • Aspirants who have passed 10+2 from Open School or as private candidates shall not be eligible to appear for the “National Eligibility Entrance Test”. Furthermore, the study of Biology/ Biotechnology as an Additional Subject at 10+2 level also shall not be permissible
  • The candidates who have passed 10+2 level with Biology as an additional subject will also be eligible for MBBS Entrance Examination

BDS Course

  • The Senior Secondary examination or the Indian School Certificate Examination, which is equivalent to 10+2 after a period of 12 years of study, the last 2 years of study must comprise of Physics, Chemistry, Biology with English as a compulsory subject.
  • A candidate must have passed in the subjects of Physics, Chemistry, Biology/ Biotechnology and English individually and must have obtained a minimum of 50% marks taken together in Physics, Chemistry & Biology/ Biotechnology at the qualifying examination and in addition must have obtained a minimum of 50th percentile and come in the merit list as a result of such competitive entrance examination (NEET 2021).
  • In respect of candidates belonging to Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, Other Backward Classes, and Most Backward Classes, a candidate must have passed in the subjects of Physics, Chemistry, Biology/ Biotechnology, and English individually and must have obtained a minimum of 40% marks taken together in Physics, Chemistry & Biology/ Biotechnology at the qualifying examination and in addition must have obtained a minimum of 40th percentile and come in the merit list as a result of such competitive entrance examination (NEET 2021).
  • Further, a candidate with benchmark disabilities must have passed in the subjects of Physics, Chemistry, Biology/ Biotechnology and English individually and must have obtained a minimum of 45% marks for General PwD and 40% marks for SC- PwD/ STPwD/ OBC- PwD/ MBC-PwD taken together in Physics, Chemistry & Biology/ Biotechnology at the qualifying examination and in addition must have obtained a minimum of 45th percentile for General PwD and 40th percentile for SC-PwD/ STPwD/ OBC-PwD/ MBC-PwD and come in the merit list as a result of such competitive
    entrance examination (NEET 2021).

Age Limit

Applicants should have a minimum of 17 years on or before 31st December 2021 (born on or before 31st December 2004).

Rajasthan NEET UG Counselling – Application Fee

All candidates are required to deposit a non-refundable application fee of Rs. 2000/- (Rs. 1200/- for SC, ST, ST-STA category candidate of Rajasthan state domicile as well as the candidate of Rajasthan state domicile whose family annual income is less than INR 2.5 lacs) + applicable transaction charges.
