OUAT 2024 Eligibility

UG Courses: Students admitted into B.Sc. (Hons.) Agriculture / B.Sc.(Hons.) Horticulture / B.Sc. (Hons.) Forestry /B.Sc. (Hons.) Community Science without having Mathematics or Biology at the +2 level will have to make up for their deficiency by taking pre-requisite courses in the subject (Mathematics / Biology) to be offered during the first two semesters.

For Master Programme:

Candidate must have passed Bachelor’s degree examination securing an Overall Grade Point Average (OGPA) of at least 6.60/ 10.00 on a ten-point scale, 3.25/ 5.00 on a five-point scale, and in a four-point scale for General Category, whereas, for SC/ ST/ Person With Disability (PWD)/ Kashmiri Migrant/ Kashmiri Pandit (Non-Migrants)/ Kashmiri Hindu Families (Non-Migrants) candidates, the said requirement is OGPA of at least 5.60/ 10.00, 2.75/ 5.00 and 2.20/ 4.00, respectively.

In other cases, where marks are awarded instead of grade points, the candidates must have secured at least 60% marks for General Category, whereas, for SC/ ST/ PWD/ Kashmiri Migrant/ Kashmiri Pandit (Non-Migrants)/ Kashmiri Hindu Families (Non-Migrants) categories, the requirement is 50% marks. (Please note that equivalence between OGPA and % marks will not be acceptable).

For Doctoral Programme:

A candidate must have secured an OGPA of 7.00 on a 10-point scale or 65% marks in a Master’s Degree. The university will not verify the OGPA/ marks in the qualifying examinations submitted by the candidates (Master’s & Doctoral program) for eligibility in the online application form. Any candidate found ineligible at the time of document verification and admission as per the clause will be debarred from admission.

The University is in no way responsible for any wrong/incorrect information furnished by the candidates in their online application form and no communication will be made by the University in this regard.

OUAT 2024 Application Fee

The candidate has to pay Rs. 1500.00 (Rupees one thousand five hundred only) as application fees to the University besides bank charges as specified by the Bank depending upon the mode of payment selected through online payment gateway using Internet Banking/ Debit Card/ Credit Card of any Bank and UPI

How To Apply For OUAT 2024?

• Aspirants can apply online by visiting the OUAT website ouat.nic.in then go to
  the admission section and click on “Student login for online application.
• The candidate will log in providing his/her e-mail ID, mobile number, OTP sent to the mobile number & e-mail, and Captcha code. After login, the candidate will land on a window showing “Apply”.
• Clicking on the application form will appear and the candidate will fill up the application.
• At the time of submission of the online application form, the candidate has to fill in the particulars such as personal information, etc.
• After submission of the online application form, an application number will be generated and sent to his/ her mobile number & e-mail).
• And then pay the Application Fee.
• Then click on the submit button.

OUAT 2024 Syllabus

Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics/ Biology are the main topics that are related to OUAT 2024 Syllabus. For the Master’s and Doctoral Programmes, there will be multiple-choice questions (MCQ) covering the subjects taught at the Bachelor’s Degree level and Master’s Degree (major discipline) respectively.

OUAT 2024 Exam Pattern

The UG Entrance Examination will be of multiple choice questions (MCQ) for 200 marks of two hours duration and the medium of Examination will be English. Each question carries one mark. There is no negative marks for the wrong answer. The Entrance Examination for admission into the Master’s and Doctoral program will be of 2 hours duration with 200 multiple choice questions of one mark each. There will be no negative mark for a wrong answer.

OUAT 2024 Admit Card

The Admit Card can be downloaded from the OUAT website (www.ouat.nic.in) or ouat-lokaseba-odisha.in through student login using e-mail, mobile number, OTP, Captcha, and application number.
