NEET NTA UG Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualifications
Applying candidates should be satisfying the following conditions issued by the National Testing Agency (NTA) officials.
- Candidates must have cleared 12th class or equivalent from a recognized institute and Board.
- Candidates who are appearing for the 12th class or equivalent in 2026 can also apply for NEET-UG 2026.
- Aspirants who have completed their 12th Class or equivalent from an open school are also eligible to apply for the NEET UG 2026.
Age Limit
This year the National Testing Agency (NTA) officials have announced that there is a slight change in the age limit. The overall upper age limit has been removed and further stated that aspirants who have completed 17 years are eligible to appear for the NEET-UG 2026.

Following is the application fee that has been issued by the NTA officials for different category candidates.

- For General-EWS/ OBC-NCL – Rs.1600/-
- Sc/ ST/ PWD/ Transgender – Rs.1000/-

How to Apply Online for the NEET UG 2026 Exam?
- Candidates have to first open the official website @ ntaneet.nic.in
- On the home page click on the Information < Information Bulletin.
- Now on the next page click on the PDF download link.
- Then, the official brochure will be opened.
- In that check for your eligibility criteria for NEET UG Exam 2026.
- Then if you are eligible, on the home page check the Candidate Activity section.
- In that click on the “NEET UG Registration”
- Now, proceed to fill in all the details and finally submit your application.
- And if required download the application form for later use.
