MGM CET 2021 Eligibility Criteria

UG Courses

B.Sc. Nursing

• The minimum age for admission shall be 17 years as of 31st December 2021
• A candidate should have passed in the subject of PCB & English Core/ English Elective individually and must have obtained a minimum of 45% marks taken together in PCB in the qualifying examination i.e. (10+2) from recognized board under AISSCE/ CBSE/ ICSE/ SSCE/ HSCE or equivalent Board.
• Students passed the 10+2 examination in Science conducted by the National Institute of Open School with 45% marks.
• Relaxation of 5% marks is applicable for SC/ST candidates.
• The candidate shall be medically fit.
• Merit-based on Entrance examination conducted by MGMIHS.

B. Sc. Allied Health Sciences

For 10+2:

• He/she has passed the Higher Secondary (10+2) with Science (PCB) or equivalent examination recognized by any Indian University or a duly constituted Board with pass marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology.
• Minimum percentage of marks: 50% aggregate(P.C.B.)

For Lateral Entry:

• Lateral entry is applicable for all the UG Degree courses of Allied Health Science Courses wherever corresponding Diploma courses is available in the concerned specialty.
• The corresponding Diploma Courses should be pursued from a recognized university only.
• They would be eligible to join in 2nd year of a respective graduate course. Subject availability of seats.

Bachelor of Optometry

For 10+2:

• He/she has passed the Higher Secondary (10+2) with Science (PCB) or equivalent examination recognized by any Indian University or a duly constituted Board with pass marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology.
• Minimum percentage of marks: 50% aggregate(P.C.B.)

For Lateral Entry:

• Lateral entry is applicable wherever corresponding Diploma courses is available in the concerned specialty.
• The corresponding Diploma Courses should be pursued from a recognized university only.
• They would be eligible to join in the 2nd year of the B. Optom Programme. Subject availability of seats.

PG Courses

M. Sc. Medical Sciences

As a minimum criterion of eligibility, aspiring candidates are needed to have attained a B.Sc. in any discipline of Life Sciences, Biosciences, M.B.B.S, BDS, BAMS, BHMS, B.Pharm., B. Tech (Biotechnology), or equivalent examination with a minimum aggregate score of 50%.

M.Sc. Nursing

• The candidate should be a Registered Nurse and Registered midwife of equivalent with any State Nursing Registration Council.
• The minimum education requirements shall be the passing of B.Sc. Nursing/B.Sc. Hons. Nursing/Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing with a minimum of 55% aggregate marks from an institution recognized by the Indian Nursing Council.
• Minimum one year of work experience after Basic B.Sc Nursing or Minimum one year of work experience prior to or after Post Basic B.Sc Nursing, from a recognized hospital of minimum 100 bed’s capacity or a community health setup or a recognized nursing educational institution.
• The candidate shall be medically fit
• Merit-based on Entrance examination conducted by MGMIHS

M. Sc. Allied Health Sciences

As a minimum criterion of eligibility, aspiring candidates are needed to have attained a B.Sc. in any discipline of Life Sciences, Biosciences, Bachelor’s degree in any of Biological Sciences, M.B.B.S, BDS, BAMS, BHMS, B.Pharm, B.Tech (Biotechnology), Bachelor’s Degree in Agricultural, Veterinary and Fishery Sciences, or equivalent examination with a minimum aggregate score of 50%.

M. Sc. Medical Radiology & Imaging Technology

B.Sc. in Medical Radiology& Imaging Technology/B.Sc. Medical Technology Radio-diagnosis and Imaging / B.Sc. Radiological Technology/B.Sc. in Radiography B.Sc. Medical Technology (X-ray) with a minimum of 50% marks in B.Sc.
