Documents Required for Lucknow University Counselling 2022 Reporting

Aspirants have to carry the originals and self-attested copies of the following documents.

• Printout of the provisional Allotment Confirmation Letter from the Lucknow University Portal.
• Copy of Application form.
• Category Certificates in original in the prescribed format.
• Original photo ID issued by Government
• Two passport-sized photographs
• Copies of all Fees Receipts
• All Mark Sheets and Certificates up to the Qualifying Examination.
• Caste Certificate (For OBC, SC, and ST)
• Income certificate if zero fees are claimed.

Lucknow University Counselling 2022 Process

Step 1: Registration

• Only registered candidates will be able to fill in the choices.
• All students have to pay Rs. 700 (Rs. 500 as advance fee and Rs. 200 as Registration fee which is non-refundable) through online modes (Net banking, Debit Card and Credit Card) only.
• Details of fees to be deposited at various stages are given.
• In case the candidate is not allotted a seat the advance fee of Rs. 500 would be refunded into the account details provided by them.
• If the candidate is allotted a seat then the advance fee/ seat confirmation fees of Rs. 500 will be adjusted in the fee for that
  program.

Step 2: Choice Filling

Candidates registered for counselling have to fill their choices of

• University/ College
• At least 3 Choices for Major 1 Subject
• At least 3 Choices for Major 2 Subject
• At least 6 Choices for Major 1 Subject

Step 3: Seat Allotment

Allotment will be done strictly on the basis of the rank of the candidate as well as the University/ College they have selected in order of preference during choice filling.

Step 4: Seat Confirmation and Provisional Allotment Confirmation letter download

Candidates who have been allotted a seat will have to download the Provisional Allotment cum Confirmation letter through the University of Lucknow website (www.lkouniv.ac.in) after paying the balance amount of the fee given on the official notification.

Upgradation

The students who have not been allotted their first preference can opt website link for UPGRADATION. And they have to give the option of whether they want to retain the allotted University/ College or they want to go for the UPGRADATION process. In the case of UPGRADATION, they would be allotted a university/ college of higher priority or the same University/ college depending upon the vacancy. In no case, a university/ college of lower priority can be allotted.

Step 5: Report to University/ Allotted College

The candidate has to report to the office of the Concerned Dean/ Principal of the allotted college on the date mentioned in the Allotment letter with all the original documents along with the provisional allotment confirmation letter. The original documents will be physically verified by the Concerned Dean/ Principal of the allotted college.

Step 6: Second Allotment

The second allotment would be carried out by the online process on a Merit Option basis on choices submitted by students in step 2 of these guidelines. Moreover, the Upgradation and allotment would be done simultaneously.

Step 7: Seat Confirmation and Provisional Allotment Confirmation letter download after the second allotment

• ASpirants who have been allotted seats in the second allotment have to confirm their seats by paying the balance fee as given in the notification. They would be able to download their provisional allotment cum confirmation letter after payment of the fee.
• Report to University/ Allotted College after the second allotment and follow the details given in step 5.
• The second allotment would be carried out by the online process on a Merit Option basis on choices submitted by students in step 2 of these guidelines. Moreover, the Upgradation and allotment would be done simultaneously.

Step 8: Subsequent Allotment

If needed further choice filling and allotment would be done on the remaining seats (if any). Details of this would be announced after fee submission for the second round of counselling is completed.
