KVPY 2021 Application Form
Candidates who are looking forward to taking part in the KVPY Exam are suggested to fill in the KVPY Application Form which is available on the official website. We advise the candidates to fill in the KVPY Application Form more carefully and give accurate details in the KVPY Application Form and submit it before the target date that is 6th September 2021. If any inaccuracies are identified by the higher officials of the Kishore Vaigyanik Protsahan Yojana, will reject the candidate’s application form.
KVPY 2021 Application Fee
After filling out the KVPY Application Form, aspirants should understand that the KVPY Application Fee should be paid at the KVPY Application Portal. This can be done by using Credit Card, ATM-Debit Card, UPI, or Net Banking. And candidates should note that there are no other means of payment will be accepted. The KVPY Application Fee once paid will not be refunded under any circumstances. The KVPY Application Fee for the General/OBC category is Rs.1250/-, For SC/ST/PWD the fee will be Rs.625/-
KVPY 2021 Eligibility Criteria
Before applying for the KVPY Exam, aspirants are suggested to check out the KVPY Eligibility Criteria, if the candidates fulfilling the eligibility criteria based on the streams they can go ahead in applying for the KVPY 2021.
The KVPY Fellowships are given to Indian Nationals to Study in India (Students intending to pursue/pursing undergraduate program under the Distance Education scheme/correspondence course of any university are not eligible to apply).
Stream SA: Due to the prevailing COVID-19 situation, as a one-time measure, students who have passed X Standard Board Examination and eligible to enroll in XI standard (Science subjects) during the academic year 2021-22, are eligible to appear for the Aptitude test. The student should produce a study certificate of class XI class once they are selected as a provisional KVPY fellow.
Moreover, the fellowship of the students selected under this stream will be activated only if they join for an undergraduate course in Basic Sciences (B.Sc./B.S./B.Stat./B.Math./Int. M.Sc./Int. M.S.) in the academic year 2023-24 after having secured a minimum of 60% (50% for SC/ST/PWD) marks in aggregate in MATHEMATICS and SCIENCE subjects in the XII standard Board Examination. During the interim period of one year, they will be invited to the National Science (Vijyoshi) Camp and their travel expenses and local hospitality will be met by KVPY.
Stream SX: Students enrolled in XII Standard (Science subjects) during the academic year 2021–22 and aspiring to join undergraduate program in Basic Sciences (B.Sc./ B.S./ B.Stat./ B.Math./ Int. M.Sc./ Int. M.S) during the academic year 2022-23. The fellowship of the students selected under this stream will be activated only if they join for an undergraduate course in Basic Sciences (B.Sc./ B.S./ B.Stat./ B.Math./ Int. M.Sc./ Int. M.S.) in the academic year 2022-23 after having secured a minimum of 60% (50% for SC/ ST/ PWD) marks in aggregate in MATHEMATICS and SCIENCE subjects (Physics/ Chemistry /Biology) in the XII standard Board Examination.
Students in their 2nd year of study in Cambridge International Examination Board and aspiring to join undergraduate program in Basic Sciences (B.Sc./ B.S./ B.Stat./ B.Math./ Int. M.Sc./ Int. M.S) during the academic year 2022-23. The fellowship of the students selected under this stream will be activated only if they join for an undergraduate course in Basic Sciences (B.Sc./ B.S./ B.Stat./ B.Math./ Int. M.Sc./ Int. M.S.) in the academic year 2022-23 after having secured a minimum of 60% (50% for SC/ ST/ PWD) marks in aggregate in MATHEMATICS and SCIENCE subjects (Physics/ Chemistry/ Biology) in the 2nd year of study in Cambridge International Examination Board Examination.
Stream SB: Due to the prevailing COVID-19 situation, as a one-time measure, students who have passed XII Standard Board Examination and eligible to enroll in the 1st year B.Sc./ B.S./ B.Stat./ B.Math./ Int. M.Sc./ Int. M.S. during the academic year 2021–22 are eligible to appear for the aptitude test. The student should produce a study certificate of 1st year B.Sc./B.S./B.Stat./B.Math./Int. M.Sc./Int. M.S once they are selected as a provisional KVPY fellow.

KVPY 2021 Syllabus
There is no prescribed syllabus for the aptitude test. The aptitude test aims to test the understanding and analytical ability of the student than his/ her factual knowledge. However, students are tested for the syllabus up to class X/ XII/ 1st year of B.Sc./ B.S./ B.Stat./ B.Math./ Int. M.Sc./ M.S. as applicable. There will be four sections in Part I (Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and Mathematics) and four sections in Part II (Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and Mathematics). Candidates may answer any THREE of the four subjects in Part I and any TWO of the four subjects in Part II. In case the candidate attempts more sections, the best of three in Part I and the best of two in Part II are considered.
KVPY 2021 Admit Card
To the KVPY Test 2021, candidates need to carry an important document that is the KVPY Admit Card. We suggest the candidates take the KVPY Admit Card to the test without fail. As the KVPY Admit Card carries the candidate’s personal details it is the only evidence for the candidates that they are eligible to write the KVPY Test 2021.
