• Candidates who have passed the Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing of Kerala, Calicut, Mahatma
  Gandhi, Kannur Universities or Kerala University of Health Sciences or regular course of other universities recognized by KUHS, after acquiring General Nursing and Midwifery Course with +2 Science Subjects. Only candidates who have passed a regular Post Basic B.Sc. A nursing degree program with a minimum of 55% aggregate marks will be eligible for admission. (Those with Distance/ Correspondence Degree course is not eligible for MSc Nursing admission)
• The candidate should have obtained registration with the Kerala Nurses and Midwives Council and the registration certificate is to be produced at the time of admission. Candidates who have studied outside Kerala shall have to produce a registration certificate of the concerned Nursing Council of the state from where they have qualified at the time of admission. The selected candidates should produce their registration certificate in original obtained from Kerala Nurses and Midwives Council at the time of admission. Candidates who have passed B.Sc. Degree in Nursing/Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing (Regular Course) from Universities outside Kerala and any of the Deemed Universities should produce the equivalency certificate from any of the Universities in Kerala, at the time of counseling.
• Relaxation in Marks: SC/ ST, SEBC, and PD candidates will have 5% Relaxation in academic eligibility marks.
• Experience: Applicant should have completed one year of experience on the date of notification of inviting application (ie, 16.09.2024) in any hospital with an average bed strength of one hundred inpatients or in a recognized School of Nursing or in a Community Health center or internship/ Compulsory Nursing service, after registration with the respective State Nursing Council.
• The experience of one year acquired by the candidates after registration from the respective State Nursing Councils within or outside Kerala, following successful completion of the B.Sc Nursing course will only be counted for the experience.
• The period has undergone by a candidate for completing the Post Basic B.Sc Nursing Course will not be reckoned for the experience. Minimum one year of work experience prior to or after Post Basic B.Sc Nursing is essential. Candidates have to produce the certificate to prove their experience at the time of admission.
• The upper age limit for General candidates shall be 46 years and that for Service candidates shall be 49 years as of the date of notification of inviting application i.e. on (16.09.2024)
