Jharkhand Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board Nursing Entrance Competitive Examination 2023 application form is released by the officials. JCECEB NECE Eligibility Criteria
Auxiliary nurse-midwife
- Educational Qualification: The candidate’s educational requirement must be 10+2 in any of the mentioned subjects. (Mathematics, Biotechnology, Home Science, Economics, Political Science, History, Accountancy, Geography, Business Studies, Psychology, and Philosophy) and English or Health care Science – Vocational stream from any recognized Board.
- Qualifying Marks: The candidate should have to pass the 10+2 exam from a recognized board, and have done their 12th exam from the national institute of open school can apply for the exam.
- Age Limit: The minimum age to get admission should be 17 years and the maximum age should be 35 years.
- The Candidate must be medically fit.
General Nursing & Midwifery (GNM)
- Educational Qualification: Applicants must be qualified for 10+2 exams in (Mathematics, Biotechnology, Psychology, Home Science, Economics, Political Science, History, Geography, Business Studies, Accountancy, and Philosophy) and English as a Core subject or Elective and Health care Science as a vocational branch only from any recognized board
- Qualifying Marks: The candidate must have qualified in 10+2 with 40% marks in
vocational ANM under CBSE Board or other equivalent board from the school and recognized by Indian Nursing Council with 40% aggregate marks. - Age Limit: The candidate’s age should be between 17 years to 35 years.
- The Candidate must be medically fit.
B.Sc. Nursing Basic Course
- 10+2 class passed with Science (PCB) & English Core/ English Elective with an aggregate of 45% marks from recognized board under AISSCE/ CBSE/ ICSE/ SSCE/ HSCE or other equivalent Board.
- Students appearing in the 10+2 examination in Science conducted by the National Institute of Open School with 45% marks.
- The student shall be medically fit.
B.Sc. Nursing Post-Basic Course
- Passed the Higher Secondary or Senior Secondary or Intermediate or 10+2 or an equivalent examination recognized by the university for this purpose. Those who have done 10+1 in or before 1986, will be eligible for admission.
- Obtained a certificate in General Nursing and Midwifery and registered as R.N.R.M. with the State Nurses Registration Council.

The JCECEB NECE 2023 question paper consists of objective-type questions(Multiple Choice Questions). The exam contains a total number of 150 questions. Questions will be asked from 5 major sections that are Physics, Chemistry, Maths & Biology, and English. The question paper is designed in both English and Hindi languages.
