ILICAT Admission 2024 – Eligibility Criteria
1. Ph.D. in Law:
- An applicant holding an LL.M. Degree from a recognized university with a minimum of 55% marks is eligible to apply. The application form complete in all respect along with a brief Research Plan (as per the given format) shall be submitted for admission. - The candidates appearing in the qualifying examinations are also eligible to apply. Still, their admission will be subject to the production of proof of having acquired minimum prescribed qualification, at the time of admission. If the result of the qualifying examination is not declared till the date of admission, his/ her admission shall be provisional. Such candidate shall give an undertaking that he/ she is taking the provisional admission at his/ her risk and that he/ she shall submit the result of the qualifying examination on or 15TH SEPTEMBER, 2022 In case the candidate fails to submit his/ her final result of qualifying examination to prove his/ her eligibility on or before 15TH SEPTEMBER, 2022 for any reason whatsoever, his/ her admission shall be treated as cancelled.
- Regular classes will be held during the coursework period of 6 months*
2. LL.M.-One Year Programme:
- LL.B. Degree (with not less than 50% marks) from any University / Institution recognized by the Bar Council of India as eligible for enrolment as an advocate in India.
- OR
- A Law Degree from a foreign university with at least 50% marks in aggregate or equivalent grade as per Association of Indian Universities (AIU) guidelines.
- The candidates appearing in the qualifying examinations are also eligible to apply. Still, their admission will be subject to the production of proof of having acquired minimum prescribed qualification, at the time of admission. If the result of the qualifying examination is not declared till the date of admission, his/ her admission shall be provisional. Such a candidate shall give an undertaking that he/ she is taking the provisional admission at his/ her risk and that he/ she shall submit the result of the qualifying examination. In case the candidate fails to submit his/ her final result of the qualifying examination to prove his/ her eligibility on or before for any reason whatsoever, his/ her admission shall be treated as canceled.

3. PG Diploma Programmes:
The minimum qualification for admission to the P.G. Diploma Programmes (except Labour Law) is a Graduate Degree from a recognized University. An additional 5% weightage in marks will be given to the Law Graduates/ CA/ CMA/ CS for admission to all Post Graduate Diploma Programmes where the law is not the qualifying degree. The minimum qualification for admission to the P.G. Diploma in Labour Law is L.L.B/ M.A in Social Sciences (II Div).

ILI CAT Application Fee 2024
Ph.D. in Law
For online submission, the application fee of Rs. 3,000/- (Rupees Three Thousand Only) is to be paid along with applicable service charges towards the processing fee through Net banking/ Debit/ Credit card/ Wallet, etc.
Master of Laws (LL.M.) – One Year Programme
For online submission of the application form, the Applicant must pay the fee of Rs. 2,500/- (Rupees two thousand five hundred only) plus applicable service charges toward processing fee through Net banking/ Debit/ Credit card/ Wallet
PG Diploma Programs
For online submission of the application form, the applicant is required to pay the fee of Rs.2,000/-(Rupees two thousand) + service charges towards application fee through Net banking/ Debit/ Credit card/ wallet.

LLM
| Part I: 40 Objective–Type Questions | 40 Marks | 40 objective-type questions with multiple choices relating to the English language and general knowledge. Each question shall carry one mark. There will be negative markings for incorrect answers. One by fourth (1/4) mark will be deducted for each incorrect answer (as per the syllabus mentioned above). |
| Part II: 100 Objective–Type Questions | 100 Marks | 100 objective-type questions with multiple choices from the following areas: Jurisprudence, Constitutional Law, IPC, Public International Law, Commercial Law (Contract and Specific Relief Act, Partnership and Sale of Goods Act), Law of Torts, Law of Limitation, and Environmental Law. ILI CAT Admit Card 2024
The candidates can download their admit cards by logging in to the portal through www.ili.ac.in (under admission section) by using the login credentials as per the intimation given by the Institute through its website. The date for downloading the admit card will be published on the Institute website www.ili.ac.in. The candidates are advised to view the institute website regularly. The Admit Card and Roll No. for the All India Admission Test will also be sent through email in case of a candidate is unable to download it through the portal. The candidate may also contact on given phone numbers/ email ID for further assistance. The Institute will not be responsible in any way for any loss, damage or delay in transit of the Admit Card. The Admit Card is required to be retained by the candidate till the admissions are finalized.
