HPCET Syllabus 2025 & Exam Pattern : The Syllabus is an essential thing for Himachal Pradesh Common Entrance Test. And 100 Verbal Ability, Quantitative Ability, Data Interpretation and Reasoning, and Business awareness (MBA & MBA (T&H))/ Computer Awareness (MCA) Subject questions will be asked for MBA & MCA Courses. Two marks shall be awarded for each correct answer and 0.5 marks shall be deducted for each wrong answer.

HP Common Entrance Test Pattern 2025
- The entrance examination (HPCET-2025) for each course shall be conducted in offline mode.
- All questions shall be objective-type multiple-choice questions. The candidate will have to choose one correct answer only.
- Two marks shall be awarded for each correct answer and 0.5 marks shall be deducted for each wrong answer (Applicable for B. Tech./ B. Pharmacy/ MBA/ MBA (T&HM)/ MCA courses).
- While the candidate can skip a question or should not choose more than one option as the correct answer.
- The question paper for B.Tech & B. Pharmacy courses shall be common. However, candidates attempting Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry shall be eligible for admission to B.Tech or B. Pharmacy course whereas the candidate who will attempt Physics, Chemistry, and Biology shall be eligible for admission to B. Pharmacy. The candidates are advised to go through the eligibility criteria for admission mentioned in Admission Brochure- 2025 which will be available on the HPTU website i.e. himtu.ac.in after the declaration of the result of HPCET-2025.
