HORTICET 2022 Eligibility
A pass in Diploma in Horticulture course from Dr. YSRHU. (Those who are going to complete the Diploma requirements in the 2021-22 academic year can also apply, but submission of the Final Memorandum of Marks-cum-Pass Certificate of Diploma in Horticulture is a must at the time of Admission counselling).
AGE: The candidates should have completed 17 years of age as on 31st December of the year of admission with an upper age limit of 22 years for all candidates, 25 years in respect of S.C. & S.T. candidates, and 27 years in respect of Physically Challenged (Differently abled) candidates
HORTICET 2022 Reservation Criteria
- As per the rules of the Government of Andhra Pradesh.
- The above seats will be allocated in the ratio of 85% for local candidates and the remaining 15% seats will be treated as an unreserved quota.
HORTICET 2022 Application Fee
- Interested candidates may apply for admission in the prescribed proforma (enclosed) along with a Demand Draft of Rs.750/- (Rupees Seven hundred and fifty only) for General/ BC candidates and for Rs.375/- (Rupees Three hundred & seventy-five only) in case of SC/ ST/ Differently abled persons drawn in favor of the “COMPTROLLER, Dr. Y.S.R HORTICULTURAL UNIVERSITY, payable at TADEPALLIGUDEM” on any Nationalized Bank (Original DD should be attached with the application form).
- The application form duly filled in should reach “The Registrar, Dr.Y.S.R Horticultural University, Venkataramannagudem-534101, West Godavari District, Andhra Pradesh.

HORTICET 2022 Result
The merit list of the candidates will be displayed on the University website. For the preparation of the merit list in case of more than one student securing the same marks, the tie shall be resolved by considering the following. The percentage of aggregate marks secured in the qualifying examination i.e., OGPA in Diploma in Horticulture course. If the tie still persists the date of birth of the concerned candidates shall be considered and the elder one shall be given preference.
