GITAM GAT 2022 Eligibility Criteria

Eligibility For Architecture
UG- B.Arch
- A pass in National Aptitude Test in Architecture (NATA) conducted by the Council of Architecture (CoA), New Delhi, (or) a pass in Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main -Paper-II (B.Arch.) conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA) in collaboration with Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD).
- Students passed in 10+2 level examination with minimum with 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics and also 50% marks in aggregate. OR 10+3 Diploma Examination with Mathematics as a compulsory subject, with at least 50% marks in aggregate
PG- M.Arch
- Pass in B.Arch. from a recognized university with a minimum of 50% marks or equivalent grade and score obtained in GAT (PG Architecture)
Eligibility For Engineering
UG
- B.Tech. programs- A minimum of 60% or 6.0 CGPA (55% in case of CBSE and ICSE) aggregate marks in Mathematics, Physics & Chemistry in the qualifying examination.
- B.Tech. in Biotechnology-A minimum of 60% or 6.0 CGPA (55% in case of CBSE and ICSE) aggregate marks in Mathematics/ Biology, Physics & Chemistry in the qualifying examination.
PG
- A minimum of 50% aggregate marks in the qualifying examination from a recognized University and score obtained in GAT (Engineering PG).
Eligibility For Humanities
UG
- Minimum of 60% of marks in Pre-University / Higher Secondary / 10+2 / Intermediate examination in any discipline or equivalent from any recognized Board or Council.
- B.A. Mathematics, Economics, Statistics-Minimum of 60% of marks in Pre-University / Higher Secondary / 10+2 / Intermediate examination in any discipline or equivalent from any recognized Board or Council with Mathematics as one of the subjects.
PG
M.A. Applied Psychology– Graduation in any stream with minimum 60% marks in any stream with minimum 50% marks
M.A. English Language and Literature– Graduation in any stream with minimum 60% marks and proficiency in English
M.A. Economics– Any Bachelor of Arts Degree with at least one core area being Economics (or) BBA (or) B. Com (or) B. Sc Mathematics (or) B. Sc Statistics with at least 60% marks.
Eligibility For Law
UG
- A minimum of 45% aggregate marks in the Intermediate / +2 or equivalent level with any combination of subjects including Open / Distance Learning.
PG
- The Candidate should have passed Graduation in Law (LL.B / BA.LLB / BBA.LLB / BSc.LLB / B.Com.LLB) from any recognized University with not less than 50% marks (45% in case of SC / ST and persons with disability). Candidates awaiting results may also apply for the course. Admission into the LLM program is based on the LSAT / CLAT course. As per the orders of the Supreme Court, there is no age limit for candidates who wish to pursue LLM.
Eligibility For Management
UG
- Minimum of 50% marks in Pre-University / Higher Secondary / 10+2 /Intermediate examination in any discipline or equivalent from any recognized board or council and Qualified in GAT (UG Management) online test or qualified in UGAT.
- BBA (Business Analytics), BMS (Aviation and Air Cargo)- Minimum of 50% marks in Pre-University / Higher Secondary / 10+2 /Intermediate examination with Mathematics as a core subject from any recognized board or council and Qualified in GAT (UG Management) online Test or qualified in UGAT.
PG
- Any Bachelor Degree with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate from a recognized university
- MBA (Business Analytics)- Bachelor Degree in B. Tech / BE / BCA / B.Sc (Computers) / B.Com (Computers) with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate from a recognized university.
Executive MBA (weekend program)-Any Bachelor Degree with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate from a recognized university and Two Years of Work Experience
GITAM GAT 2022 Application Form
The GITAM GAT 2022 Application Form is released by the GITAM University. Thus candidates can fill and submit their Application form at gat.gitam.edu. How To Apply For GITAM GAT 2022?
- Initially take a step at the official portal @ gitam.edu of GITAM University.
- On the home page click on the Apply Now option.
- Select the Register button and fill up the empty columns w1ith the respective details like name, email id, state, city, etc.,
- Later, agree to the declaration and tap on the ‘Register’ button.
- Once the registration is finished select the Login option and log in with the username and password sent at your registered email id or phone number.
- After logging in, the dashboard will be opened.
- Now update the password then click on the ‘Update Password’ button.
- Select the course/courses.
- After selecting the course, Pay the Application fee.
- Enter the Personal, Contact, and Educational Details.
- Then, click on the ‘Save and Next’ button.
- After entering the contact details, provide the previous qualifying educational details.

Architecture Exam Pattern – M.Arch
The duration of the test is 2 hours. All 100 questions are of objective type (multiple choice questions) with a background of B.Architecture. Each question has four options of which one is correct. Each correct answer will be awarded 2 marks. The unanswered questions will receive nil marks.
