CSAB NEUT Counselling 2023
National Testing Agency (NTA) and Central Seat Allocation Board (CSAB) are two different and independent boards. CSAB NEUT is for admission to Engineering/ Architecture courses. The entire admission process will consist of two rounds, to be conducted by CSAB NEUT-2023. It may be followed by a spot round, which will be conducted by the respective DTEs of North Eastern States/ UTs and NERIST Itanagar.

CSAB NEUT Counselling 2023 Eligibility
Candidate must have Secured a rank in JEE (Main) 2023 B.E./ B.Tech. Paper for B.E./ B.Tech. programs secured a rank in JEE (Main) 2023 B.Arch. Paper for B.Arch. programs. Passed in the Class XII (or equivalent) Board examination in the year 2020, 2021, and 2023 will be eligible for admission through CSAB NEUT-2023 provided they fulfill all other eligibility requirements. Candidates appearing for class XII examination in 2023 and if their result is not yet declared, can submit their XII pass certificate. In case, if the candidate fails class XII, his/ her admission will be cancelled.
For Engineering and Architecture: Candidates must PASS the class XII exam with the following: For B. E. B. Tech. programs
- Physics
- Mathematics
- Any one of Chemistry, biology, biotechnology, technical vocation subject.
- A language
- Any subject other than the above four
- For B.Arch. Programs:
- Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry Other two subjects.
- Candidates must also qualify National Aptitude Test in Architecture (NATA) for admission
- in any institution other than Centrally Funded Technical Institutions (CFTIs)
For Pharmacy: Allotment is to be done on the basis of aggregate percentage of class XII, and the Candidate must have passed class XII with Physics and Chemistry as compulsory subjects along with one of the following subjects: Mathematics, Biology, Biotechnology, and Computer.
Documents Needed At The Time Of CSAB NEUT Counselling 2023
Candidates are required to upload the scanned copy of the following documents in pdf /JPG format against their claims
- Any photo ID proof
- Admit Card of JEE(Main)-2023 (Not applicable for Pharmacy) lass X (High School) Board
- Certificate as proof of date of birth
- Certificate and Marks sheet of the qualifying examination.
- Certificate of category/ subcategory/ caste/ sub-caste as applicable, issued by the competent authority [Annexure -I for Non-Creamy Layer OBC (OBC-NCL) and Annexure II for SC/ ST]
- Certificate for Persons with Disabilities (PwD), if applicable (Annexure–III). The certificate should be issued by a duly constituted Medical Board. The certificate should stand valid up to December 31, 2023. Certificates not issued by a medical board &/or getting expired before 31.12.2023 shall not be accepted.
- Proof of place of examination center in case of the final qualifying examination is from the National Institute of Open Schooling (NIOS) formerly known as National Open School (NOS) Permanent Resident Certificate (PRC)/ Domicile, if applicable
- Medical Certificate (Annexure–IV)
- Declaration/ Undertaking from the Candidate
- Undertaking by the Parents/ Guardian
- Special Benefit claim certificate (if applicable)
- Any other documents as desired by the respective DTEs of States/UTs/NERIST

- Candidates must ensure that the pop-ups are enabled on their internet browser before online choice filling.

How To Register For CSAB NEUT Counselling 2023?
- All eligible candidates should register on the CSAB portal (csab.nic.in) as per the schedule.
- First-time Login: For admission to Engineering / Architecture, eligible candidates should log-in using the Roll Number of JEE (Main)-2023 and Password created during JEE (Main) / JEE(Adv.) registration
- For admission to Pharmacy, eligible candidates will be required to create the login/ password through the separate link available on CSAB Portal.
- Candidates will be permitted to proceed with the registration process, only if the data entered by them match the data as available with the JEE (Main)-2023 database of NTA, for Engg./ Arch.
