BVP CET ABOP Eligibility

B.Sc. Biotechnology

Candidates should have completed their Higher Secondary Education or its equivalent examination with a minimum of 45% (40% for SC/ ST) marks in Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and /or Mathematics and passed in English, from a recognized board are eligible for admission to the first year of the B.Sc. Biotechnology course.

B.Optometry

• Candidate who has successfully passed the Higher Secondary Examination (10+2course) or equivalent examination with minimum 45% (40% in case of students from SC/ ST category) marks in Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and /or Mathematics and passed in English, from a recognized board is eligible for admission to the First year of the B.Optometry.
• A student once enrolled for this course, will not be given a transfer certificate, or cannot leave the course, unless he/ she pays fees for the duration of the course.

Age:

The candidate seeking admission to the course should complete 17 years of age on or before the year of admission to the course. a candidate who fails to fulfill the relevant eligibility requirements as mentioned above will not be considered eligible for admission to the B. Optometry course even if he/she is placed in the merit list of the B.Tech, B.Pharm/ Pharm D. ABON. The candidates are advised not to submit their application forms for appearing for B.Tech, B.Pharm/ Pharm D. ABON if they do not fulfill any or all of the relevant eligibility requirements

B. ASLP

Eligibility requirements for computer-based online Entrance Test and subsequent admission to B.ASLP are as follows:

• The candidate applying for admission to the B.ASLP course should have passed 10+2 or an equivalent examination from a recognized board with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks.
• The applicant/ candidate should have studied: Physics, Chemistry and any one of the subject Biology/ Mathematics/ Computer Science/ Statistics/ Electronics/ Psychology at 10+2 level
• The candidate shall have studied English as a subject in the qualifying examination and passed the same.

• Type of Questions – Multiple choice questions

• Marking Scheme – 1 mark for the correct answer, no negative marking.

B.Optometry, BASLP

• BV ABOP 2024 Exam is a computer-based online entrance test for admission to B.Tech, B.Pharm/ Pharm D. ABON program. It will be 200 marks and shall be of 180 minutes in duration.
• The Computer based Online entrance test B. Tech, B.Pharm/ Pharm D. ABON will consist of one question paper, set in English and will contain 200 multiple choice objective-type questions, 60 each on Physics, 60 each on Chemistry, 80 each on Biology (Botany and Zoology) and/or 80 each on Mathematics.
• They will be set on the topics in the syllabus of 10+2 (H.S.C.) Course. Based on a general pattern of the 10+2 examination syllabus.
• It consists of 200 multiple-choice questions, one mark each with four alternatives, with only one correct or most appropriate answer. One Mark will be awarded for each correct answer.
• There is no negative marking. The candidate will have to choose either biology or Mathematics for the entrance test. The choice may be provided during the filling up of the online application form. The choice of the section once made will not be changed.
