Educational Qualifications

• Bihar School Examination Committee or CBSE. Passed with Mathematics and Science in the Secondary Examination conducted by the Board or equivalent examination passed in this examination with separate passing in Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry.
• Candidates appearing in the Admission Session (2024) in the Secondary or equivalent examination may also apply. But it is necessary to have passed by the starting day of counselling/ interview.
• I.T. Educational Qualification: For enrollment in sector courses, it is mandatory to pass the educational qualification secondary or equivalent examination (with Science).
• For enrollment in non-engineering trade, it is necessary to pass only Secondary or its equivalent examination.

Age Limit

The minimum age should be 14 years as of 01.08.2024 accordingly the date of birth of the candidate should not be after 01.08.2008. For Mechanic Motor Vehicle and Mechanic Tractor minimum age of 17 years is mandatory as of the said date. There is no upper age limit.
