• Age Limit: There is no set age limit specified for a candidate to appear for the test.

For each correct answer, 2 marks will be awarded. And there is no negative marking for the test. 90 minutes will be provided for one subject chosen. General Awareness, General English, General Hindi, and Mental Ability are the topics for the Allahabad University PGAT Exam.

Allahabad University PGAT 2024 Exam Pattern

Each PGAT 2024 test of 300 marks will consist of 150 Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs). Moreover, the PGAT-I test meant for courses (MA, M.Sc, M.Com, LLM) will be conducted Online as well as Offline. PGAT-II test meant for courses (B. Ed, MBA, M.Ed, M.Pe.Ed, MA) will be conducted Online only. Moreover, Fifty questions will be related to General Awareness, General English, General Hindi, Logical Reasoning, and Mental Ability. Each correct answer will be awarded ‘2’ (two) marks.

The Remaining hundred questions of the PGAT Test for a course mentioned in PGAT I. Applicants are advised to fill in the correct codes for their respective subjects carefully. Also, make a note that each correct answer will be awarded ‘4’ (four) marks. The total of marks for each subject will be computed separately as the sum of marks scored for fifty compulsory questions and that scored for fifty questions of the respective subject.
