This All India Law Entrance Test is conducting to get the admissions into the Five Year B.A LLB (Hons), LLM, and Ph.D. Programs. The higher authorities of the National Law University, Delhi released the AILET 2024 Application Form on 7th August 2023. All eligible candidates have to submit the AILET 2024 Application Form before the closing date i.e 15th November 2023. The AILET 2024 Registration is now ongoing. Candidates who wish to apply for AILET 2024 Exam for admission to Five Year B.A LLB (Hons), LLM, and Ph.D. Programs, should hurry up and submit their applications.

AILET 2024 Eligibility

B.A.LL.B.(Hons.) [Five-Year Programme]

  • Senior Secondary School Examination (10+2 System) or Equivalent Examination with 45% marks (40% in case of SC/ ST/ Persons with Disabilities).
  • The candidates appearing for the 12th standard annual examination are eligible to apply.

LL.M. Programme [One Year]

  • LL.B. or an equivalent law degree with 50% marks (45% in case of SC/ST/ Persons with Disabilities).
  • The candidates appearing for the final year LL.B. annual examination are eligible to apply.

Ph.D. Program

  • LL.M. or an equivalent law degree with 55% marks (50% in case of SC/ST/ Persons with Disabilities).

Ph.D. Program

Total Seats: 13+2 (13 Seats on AILET merit and 2 Seats for direct admission to Foreign Nationals on merit of Research Proposals). Foreign Nationals are exempted from AILET.

Note: Below Poverty Line (BPL) applicants of the SC/ ST category are exempted from the application fee.

How To Apply For AILET 2024?

  • Navigate to the official site @ nludelhi.ac.in.
  • The home page will appear on the screen.
  • Scroll down the page, and on the left side, you can see the “AILET Admissions 2024”.
  • Click on that link.
  • In that hit on the “New Registration” link.
  • Fill in the form with personal details, and upload the documents.
  • Verify the details.
  • Click on the submit button.
  • Choose the course you want to apply for.
  • You have to fill in the mandatory details in the application form.
  • Next, click on save and continue.
  • After that pay the application fee by using the credit/ debit card of the particular bank.
  • Download the application.
  • Finally, keep a xerox copy of AILET 2024 for future references.

AILET Exam Pattern

BA LLB

There will be a Negative Marking in AILET 2024. The criteria for negative marking will be based on the formula 0.25*4=1 which means per the wrong answer 0.25 marks will be deducted. Therefore, four wrong answers will lead to a deduction of 1 Mark.

AILET Admit Card 2024

Candidates who are going to take the All India Law Entrance Test (AILET) exam on 10th December 2023, need to download the AILET Admit Card. The link to download the AILET Admit Card will be activated officials make it out. The AILET Admit Card 2024 will be issued on 20th November 2023.

AILET-2024 will be conducted in the following cities like Bengaluru, Bilaspur, Bhopal, Chandigarh, Chennai, Cochin, Cuttack, Dehradun, Delhi, Gandhinagar, Ghaziabad, Greater Noida, Gurugram, Guwahati, Hyderabad, Imphal, Jabalpur, Jaipur, Jammu, Jodhpur, Kanpur, Kolkata, Kota, Lucknow, Mangalore, Mumbai, Nagpur, Patna, Pune, Raipur, Rajkot, Ranchi, Thiruvananthapuram, Tirupati, Shimla, Siliguri, Silchar, Varanasi, and Visakhapatnam. In case the number of candidates in any city is less than 100, then a test center shall not be created in that city and candidates will be allotted a center as per their 2nd/ 3rd city preference indicated in the application form.
