AILET 2026 Eligibility
B.A.LL.B.(Hons.) [Five-Year Programme]
- Senior Secondary School Examination (10+2 System) or Equivalent Examination with 45% marks (40% in case of SC/ ST/ Persons with Disabilities).
- The candidates appearing for the 12th standard annual examination are eligible to apply.
LL.M. Programme [One Year]
- LL.B. or an equivalent law degree with 50% marks (45% in case of SC/ST/ Persons with Disabilities).
- The candidates appearing for the final year LL.B. annual examination are eligible to apply.
Ph.D. Program
- LL.M. or an equivalent law degree with 55% marks (50% in case of SC/ST/ Persons with Disabilities).
Ph.D. Program
Total Seats: 13+2 (13 Seats on AILET merit and 2 Seats for direct admission to Foreign Nationals on merit of Research Proposals). Foreign Nationals are exempted from AILET.

How To Apply For AILET 2026?

- The home page will appear on the screen.
- Scroll down the page, and on the left side, you can see the “AILET Admissions 2026”.
- Click on that link.
- In that hit on the “New Registration” link.
- Fill in the form with personal details, and upload the documents.
- Verify the details.
- Click on the submit button.
- Choose the course you want to apply for.
- You have to fill in the mandatory details in the application form.
- Next, click on save and continue.
- After that pay the application fee by using the credit/ debit card of the particular bank.
- Download the application.
- Finally, keep a xerox copy of AILET 2026 for future references.

BA LLB
There will be a Negative Marking in AILET 2026. The criteria for negative marking will be based on the formula 0.25*4=1 which means per the wrong answer 0.25 marks will be deducted. Therefore, four wrong answers will lead to a deduction of 1 Mark.

AILET Admit Card 2026
Candidates who are going to take the All India Law Entrance Test (AILET) exam on 7th December 2025, need to download the AILET Admit Card. The link to download the AILET Admit Card will be activated officials make it out. The AILET Admit Card 2026 is expected to be released in the fourth week of November 2025.

In case the number of candidates in any city is less than 100, then a test center shall not be created in that city and candidates will be allotted a center as per their 2nd/ 3rd city preference indicated in the application form.
