Asian College of Journalism Exam 2024 Eligibility Criteria

A Bachelor’s Degree is mandatory. Graduates in any discipline are eligible to apply for admission to the

• ACJ – Bloomberg Business and Financial Journalism program and
• ACJ Integrated Multimedia Journalism program.

Candidates who are yet to write their undergraduate degree examination (because of the delay due to the lockdown) and those awaiting the results of their undergraduate examination are also eligible to apply.

Enrolled students should provide their mark sheet or degree certificate to the Registrar ideally within the first week of the commencement of classes. However, since the undergraduate exam results are likely to be delayed, more time may be given for the submission of the certificates. All students awaiting their examination results should provide their degree certificates by the end of March 2024.

ACJ Application Form 2024

• The application form may either be submitted ONLINE or DOWNLOAD and completed. Application whether the online or hard copy will need to be sent along with an application fee of Rs 2360/- (inclusive of GST @ 18%).
• Candidates applying for both programs need to pay only one application fee. The fee can be remitted as an online transfer or sent as a Demand Draft in favor of “Media Development Foundation”, payable at Chennai. Please ensure that the applicant’s full name, email id, and mobile number accompany the payment.
• In the case of online transfer, the applicant will be directed to the Online Payment gateway once the form is filled. The applicant is requested to keep Credit Card/ Debit card/ Net Banking details ready for making the payment. The applicant using the payment gateway service is required to pay the convenience fee as prescribed by the service.
• SC/ ST applicants are exempt from the application fee for the production of their community certificates.

Note: Application Forms will be processed only if they are complete in all respects and upon receipt of the application fee.

How To Apply For ACJ Entrance Exam 2024?

• The Online Application involves the following process: Signing up, Personal and Educational Details, Work Experience Details, Uploading of photographs, Final Submission, and Payment.
• Please ensure that all fields in the form are completed correctly.
• The email ID and Mobile Number furnished must remain valid since all communication from ACJ will be sent to the mobile number and the email id furnished by the candidate.
• Before starting to fill in the application online, an applicant will be required to have the following:
  • Applicant’s recent passport-size color digital photo in JPEG/PNG format. The face should be clear and facing upfront. Selfies will not be accepted.
  • Scanned copy/copies of family income proof if you intend to apply for a scholarship (e.g. payslip, last filed income tax return of earning family members).
  • Scanned copy of your community certificate if you intend to apply for the SC/ ST scholarship and avail of the exemption from the application fee.
  • Education details of school and college which include a year of study, subjects, and percentage of marks/ grades obtained.
• If you have not attached the income proof/community certificate you can follow any one of the options mentioned below:
  • Log in again and upload the scanned copy of the documents OR
  • Email the scanned documents to admissionacj@gmail.com with your name and reference number OR
  • Send the documents by post/courier with your reference number, name, address, email id, and contact number to the following address:
